Dudjom Lingpa Nang Jang – Reading Transmission and Teachings with Dungse Jigme Wangdrak Rinpoche (Retreat in Colorado)
Friday to Monday, August 22 - 25, 2025
Tara Mandala, Pagosa Springs, Colorado
Tara Mandala is honored to announce the offering of reading transmission (Tib. lung) and precious teachings on Dudjom Lingpa’s Nang Jang by Dungse Jigme Wangdrak Rinpoche. This is a continuation of the teachings offered at Tara Mandala in 2024. Rinpoche invites anyone to attend these teachings, even if they did not attend the 2024 retreat.
Nang Jang (refinement of perception) is the name given to a visionary text of the Tibetan Dzogchen tradition, in which the Dzogchen master, Dudjom Lingpa, experiences visionary visitations from fourteen awakened beings, including Avalokiteshvara, Longchenpa, and Padmasambhava, who teach him of the illusory nature of all things and how they arise from the Ground of Being, the Primordial State.
Who Can Attend? At Rinpoche’s request, this retreat is open to Vajrayana practitioners who:
Have completed Ngöndro. Ongoing practice and commitment to complete Ngöndro is also acceptable.
Have previously obtained the “Four Empowerments” (དབང་བཞི་) of Vajrayana according to the inner tantras.
Have faith in Vajrayana and its gurus.
